Each piece of Earthgirl's pottery is handmade on the wheel. Each piece is unique- a one of a kind piece of art that you can use everyday. All designs are available in a variety of sizes and colors. The brown clay is Stoneware and is fired to a temperature of 2230. These pieces are regular oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. To use in the oven, fill with food and place in a warm (200) oven, then bring the oven up to the desired temperature (not above 350). Do not subject the pieces to thermal shock such as going from the fridge to a hot oven, never put them over a direct flame. The white clay is earthenware (unless otherwise specified) and is fired to a temperature of 2008. These pieces are food and dishwasher safe, but, please don’t cook in them.
